Toyota Global Hybrid Sales Exceed 10 Million Vehicles

Toyota Announces its Latest Record Year of North American Production

With plenty of time passed since the end of 2016, Toyota has been able to report on the production numbers from their North American vehicle assembly plants - and the automaker is able to claim another record year. With production totals of 2,124,608, Toyota was able to manufacture 4.4 percent more models in North America than last year's 2,035,028 models produced. That brings the total amount of vehicles produced in the continent since 1986 higher than 30 million, with the latest push coming from the brand's continued focus on reliable trucks and SUVs.
