2023 Toyota Crown Preview

The Toyota Crown is a unique mid-size sedan-crossover that was first produced in 1955. But it hasn’t been seen in North America in all these decades; that is, until now.

Toyota’s made the decision to bring this vehicle to the US as a 2023 model, which should have you excited. If you can get your hands on one, then you’ll be one of the few Americans who own this fantastic car.

If you’re thinking of buying a new vehicle soon, then this one should be of interest. Read on to get a preview of what the 2023 Toyota Crown offers.

Toyota Crown 2023 Price

First, let’s discuss the price of this up-and-coming car.

There’s speculation that pricing should start in the low $40,000 range. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual dealerships to decide how much to charge. And you’ll get to decide which trim and extras you want to take, which will affect pricing too.

2023 Toyota Crown Overview

As we’ve mentioned above, this sedan is a crossover; it’s got some elements from a crossover SUV. The result is a vehicle that has a truly unique look. This car uses the Toyota TNGA-K platform, which the Sienna, RAV4, Venza, and Camry use as well.

You’ll enjoy power-adjustable and heated front seats that come standard, as well as black fabric upholstery.

2023 Toyota Crown Trims

There will be 3 trims for this car: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. No matter which you choose, all trims come with hybrid power and all-wheel drive.

The base XLE trim comes with 19-inch wheels and the other 2 comes with 21-inch wheels. They also get ventilated seats.

If you choose the Platinum trim, you’ll get exclusive 2-tone paint with a black roof and your choice of exterior body colors. It also benefits from authentic leather upholstery, while the Limited trim gets synthetic leather.

Toyota Crown Hybrid Max

The most notable feature of this sedan is the Hybrid Max system. This is the first time Toyota’s using it in their cars, so it’s very exclusive!

This powertrain is only available for the Platinum trim. It’s a 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It also has a front-mounted electric motor and rear e-Axle.

You’ll get 340 HP with this powertrain.
